CLOSE OF NOMINATIONS - The nomination period will be extended to 1 May 2020 meaning nominations will close on Friday 1 May at midday.
To help make things easier, the returning officer will be accepting electronic nomination papers (scanned and emailed). In order to submit your nomination paper electronically you can download and print it from the 'Nomination paper' link provided below. Once you have completed the form, scan and email it back to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The returning officer acknowledges that with the current climate and the associated government restrictions (self-isolating, social distancing), it may be challenging for candidates to get nominators to complete and sign their nomination. If a candidate’s nominators reside outside of their bubble, separate nomination papers may be downloaded and submitted to the returning officer, provided all parts of the nomination are received before 12 noon, Friday 1 May 2020.
We will endeavour to keep you updated of progress. Please stay safe and well.
Nga mihi. From the team at Election Services.
